Late Ohinoyi An Expectional Royal Father — Hon Fanwo
The Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, extends his heartfelt condolences to the Ebira nation and the Government of Kogi State on the passing of the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Alhaji Dr Ado Ibrahim.
During a press conference held at his residence in Lokoja, Hon. Fanwo expressed deep sorrow over the loss of this esteemed royal figure, emphasizing that it is a significant loss not only for Ebiraland, Kogi State, but also for the entire nation.
He described the late Ohinoyi as a brilliant and exceptional individual who has now transitioned to the world beyond.
Hon. Fanwo highlighted the late royal father’s intellectual prowess and wisdom, noting that he was a strong advocate for peace, integrity, transparency, and equality throughout his lifetime.
In addition, the Honourable Commissioner offered words of encouragement to His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello (CON), and the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, urging them to remain steadfast during this challenging period.
He acknowledged that they will greatly miss the fatherly advice, care, and love of the late Ohinoyi.
Hon. Fanwo emphasized the importance of the legacy left behind by the royal father, urging the younger generation to emulate his exemplary qualities and follow in his footsteps.
Furthermore, he fervently prayed to Allah to grant His Excellency, the Ebira nation, and the entire people of the state the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
He also prayed for Allah to fill the void left behind by the late Ohinoyi.
The Commissioner concluded by seeking forgiveness for any shortcomings of the late royal father and praying for his soul to rest in Aljanah firdaus.
