The despicable and inhumane incident, which unfolded across the villages of Nkienzha and Teegbe, has left behind a devastating trail of destruction and mourning. It is evident that these attacks were orchestrated by terrorists with the sinister intention of annihilating the peace-loving citizens of Plateau State. We unequivocally reject and denounce these incessant acts of terrorism, and we call upon the security forces to fulfill their mandate of protecting the lives and properties of our people.

As we mourn the loss of innocent lives and empathize with the affected families, I, on behalf of the constituents whom I represent in the National Assembly, extend my deepest condolences and stand in solidarity with them during this trying time. The pain and anguish inflicted upon our communities by these cowardly acts are immeasurable, and we must collectively stand against such atrocities.

It is imperative that the government of the day takes decisive action to apprehend the perpetrators of these heinous acts and bring them to justice swiftly. We will work tirelessly and collaboratively with relevant authorities to ensure that those responsible for perpetrating such dastardly acts against our peace-loving constituents are held accountable for their actions.

Let it be known that we will not cower in fear or succumb to the tactics of terror. We remain resolute in our commitment to upholding peace, unity, and progress in Plateau State, and we call upon all stakeholders to join us in this noble endeavor.

*Hon. Daniel Asama Ago*

Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency.
