Lokoja/Koto Federal Constituency APC Stakeholders Resolve To Deliver Ododo

APC Stakeholders in Lokoja /Koto Federal Constituency under the Chairmanship of Hon. Baba Ali , have resolved to deliver massive votes towards the victory of the All Progressives Congress in the November 11 Governorship election of the state.

The stakeholders made this known in a communique at the end of their meeting in Lokoja, assuring the party of the commitment of all the leaders and members of the party within the Constituency to ensure Ododo wins the election with a wide margin.

According to the communiqué, modalities have been put in place to galvanize members of the party towards a resounding victory in the Governorship Poll.

It reads: “We met today to review our chances and draw up new strategies aimed at ensuring massive victory for our party in the upcoming Governorship Poll. It is clear that we are on the right track to win massively.

“All the leaders of the party in the Federal Constituency have resolved to work together in unity to achieve the desired goal”.

At the meeting are the Chairman of the Stakeholders Forum, Hon. Baba Ali; Co-Chairman, Hon. Saliu Akawu ; Secretary, Hon. Bashir Gegu; Financial Secretary, Hon. Sunday Ehimoni; Publicity Secretary, Hon. Haruna Isa and the treasurer , Treasurer, Haj. Maryam Suleiman.

Also in attendance are the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Umar Aliyu ( Assignment); Member of the House of Representatives representing Lokoja/Koto Federal Constituency, Hon. Danladi Aguye; Member representing Kogi/Kotonkarfe in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Eadris Aliyu, Hon Ebaya Tijani of Lokoja 1 State constituency; the Executive Chairmen Kogi and Lokoja LGAs; all political appointees from Lokoja /Koto Federal Constituency; all former political appointees and other political heavyweights in the Federal Constituency.

All the leaders commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his inclusive governance and developmental strides.

In a related development, there are strong indications that APC stalwarts in Gegu North might have abandoned Hon. Abdulkarim Isah (Wambai), as party leaders said his declaration of support for the SDP is unilateral and doesn’t enjoy the support of the Ward.

It would be recalled that the former APC Chieftain declared support for the Social Democratic Party. But the people of the Ward said their loyalty and support are for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress.

It has been reported that over 300 PDP members defected to the All Progressives Congress in order to align with the ruling party ahead of the Guber Poll.
