Kogi State Government Takes Delivery of Modern Firefighting Trucks
The Kogi State Government has recently acquired three state-of-the-art firefighting vehicles to address the challenges posed by fire outbreaks in the state.
These new firefighting trucks, in addition to the existing fleet, will be strategically stationed across the state to ensure swift responses to fire emergencies.
Governor Yahaya Bello, CON, through the State Executive Council approved the procurement of these advanced firefighting vehicles as part of his commitment to enhancing the capabilities of the state’s fire service.
Each of these newly acquired firefighting trucks boasts impressive features, including air conditioning, an HF7 front axle with a 14,000kg capacity, drum-type brakes, and an ST14 rear axle with 188,000kg drum-type brakes. They are also equipped with 315/80R22.5 tubeless tires, including a spare tire, and a 300L fuel tank.
Moreover, these fire tankers have substantial capacities, with 8,000 liters for water and 2,000 liters for foam, accompanied by cutting-edge firefighting equipment to effectively and efficiently combat fires disaster. They are also equipped with multiple fire hose coupling and all kinds of fire fighting equipment in tool cabinet, Independent fire pump room , and Intelligent control integration system ,mange the working state of appearance directly
With these modern firefighting trucks now in operation, the safety of the people of Kogi State takes precedence, and the firefighting force is well-prepared to respond promptly and effectively to any fire incidents that may arise.
