Madaki Ameh Applauds Steve Ogwuche Jr. for Leadership Compendium
Renowned energy lawyer, Barrister Madaki Ameh, has applauded the author of Leading With a Difference, Steve Ogwuche Jr., describing the book as an inspiring work capable of influencing and transforming the next generation of leadership across Nigeria, Africa, and the Black world.
The commendation came on Tuesday, October 5, 2026, at the Dr. Mariam Babangida Centre for Women Development, Abuja, during the unveiling of Leading With a Difference, a compendium that chronicles the positive contributions and impact of notable leaders across various sectors in Nigeria and Africa.
The book launch attracted Nigerians from different walks of life, with several dignitaries and guests offering glowing tributes to the author for documenting the achievements and contributions of individuals who have made significant positive impacts on society.
Speaking exclusively to the media after the unveiling, Barrister Ameh commended Ogwuche for the painstaking effort invested in compiling the book, describing it as a significant contribution to the discourse on inspirational and transformational leadership.
According to him, the importance of promoting inspirational and transformational leadership in Nigeria and across the African continent underscores the significance of Leading With a Difference, which he said contains valuable accounts of individuals who have positively impacted society.
Barrister Ameh, who holds several traditional chieftaincy titles, including the Okalaye of Idoma Land and the Odejo of Adoka, expressed his honour at being part of the book unveiling.
He also praised the author’s strong human relations and ability to build meaningful relationships, noting that the quality was one he believed Ogwuche Jr. inherited from his late father, Alhaji Ogwuche, whom he described as his personal friend.
“I feel greatly honoured to be part of this unveiling. Steve has demonstrated remarkable human relations and rapport with people, and I believe this is a quality he inherited from his late father, Alhaji Ogwuche, who was my friend,” Ameh said.
The energy lawyer further commended Ogwuche for dedicating almost a decade to the publication, describing the commitment as evidence of his passion for documenting positive leadership and inspiring future generations.
He expressed optimism that the book would contribute to reshaping the leadership narrative in Nigeria and the wider African continent, as well as among people of African descent globally.
Ameh noted that documenting the stories and contributions of impactful leaders would provide younger generations with examples worthy of emulation while encouraging them to embrace leadership founded on service, integrity, innovation, and positive societal impact.
He therefore congratulated Steve Ogwuche Jr. for the successful publication and unveiling of Leading With a Difference, describing the book as a timely intervention in the quest for better and more transformational leadership across Africa.
