Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Pays Condolences Visit to Katsina Governor, Mallam Umar Dikko Umaru over the demise of his mother

The Honorable Minister of Defence, His Excellency Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, CON, mni, today, (yesterday) Wednesday, March 26, 2025, paid a condolence visit to the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Mallam Umar Dikko Umaru Radda, at the Government House, Katsina, following the passing of his beloved mother, Hajiya Safara’u Umar Bare-Bari Radda.
During the visit, the Minister, on behalf of himself, his family, the Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Matawalle, and the entire staff of the Ministry of Defence, extended their heartfelt condolences to the Governor, his family, and the people of Katsina State over this irreparable loss.
In his message, His Excellency Mohammed Badaru Abubakar prayed for Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased, have mercy on her soul, and grant her Jannatul Firdaus. He also prayed for Allah to grant the Governor and his entire family the strength and fortitude to bear this great loss.
The Minister was accompanied by the former Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Idris Garba Jahun, as well as members of the State House of Assembly representing Hadejia and Babura, Hon. Abubakar Sadiq Jallo and Hon. Mas’ud A. Naruwa, respectively.
