MINISTER OF STEEL DEVELOPMENT, PRINCE SHUAIBU ABUBAKAR AUDU, CONGRATULATES ODODO ON APPEAL COURT’S VICTORY
The Honourable Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, has congratulated the Kogi State Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on his victory at the Court of Appeal affirming him as governor of the state.
Prince Audu extended his congratulations to the governor in a statement made available by his Special Assistant on Media, Lizzy Okoji on Thursday in Abuja, describing it as a “Victory for Kogites”.
The Honourable Minister, who was also the Director-General of the Kogi State All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Campaign Council, which led the party to victory on November 11, 2023, stated that Governor Ododo’s victory at the appellate court is a reflection of a free, fair, and credible election process, which led to the emergence of Ododo as the choice of Kogites for governor.
“On behalf of the APC Gubernatorial Campaign Council in Kogi State, I hereby congratulate his Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, on his resounding victory at the appellate court, which is a testament to the choice of the people of Kogi State in the November 11 governorship election.
“The Court of Appeal’s judgement reaffirms the trust, confidence, and overwhelming support that the people of Kogi State have in Governor Ododo, thereby electing him to steer the state towards consolidation and continuity” Audu said.
