Hon. Salman Idris Congratulates Governor Ododo On Appeal Court Victory

Member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Hon. Salman Idris, has extended his warmest congratulations to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ododo, on his resounding victory at the appeal court.

The appeal court on Thursday affirmed Governor Ododo as the lawfully elected Governor of Kogi State in the last governorship election.

Hon Salman Idris, in a statement, praised the court’s decision, saying it vindicates the will of the people of Kogi State, who overwhelmingly voted for Governor Ododo.

He urged the aggrieved parties to accept the judgment and jettison further legal action, allowing Governor Ododo to focus on delivering good governance to the people of Kogi State.

“The victory is a testament to the people’s trust in Governor Ododo’s leadership and vision for Kogi State,” Honourable Salman said. “I implore all parties to put the interest of Kogi State above personal ambitions and allow the Governor to concentrate on his mandate.

“With this victory, Governor Ododo can now focus on his administration’s agenda, delivering on his campaign promises and improving the lives of the people of Kogi State.”

Honourable Salman’s congratulatory message comes as a gesture of goodwill and a show of support for the Governor’s efforts to move Kogi State forward.
