Miss KSU in conjunction with care givers provide free care services in Kabba
Office of the Miss Kabba Student’s Union in conjunction with Dr. Samuel Alori and Other Primary Health Care service providers Conducted Free Blood group test and other blood related services for students in Kabba, Kabba-Bunu local government area of Kogi state.
Speaking at the event, Miss KSU, Queen Fagbemi Ayomide Who disclosed that the aim of the event is to enlighten the students on the need to Know their blood group and genotype saying the students union see this as a means of encouraging the students to know their status in order for them to make right choices in life and also to save lives by donating blood.
While Miss Unity, Queen Mary Olorunmeyan added that the union desire to make this a yearly event because it will help to reduce the numbers of sickle cells in the community.
Also speaking Face of KSU, Queen Bukola Joachim Also said the program was to encourage the students to frequently donate blood so has to assist the local hospitals in saving lives of those with related blood issues.
The KSU National President Comr. Samuel Oluwabusayomi Felix who said in his remark that this is one of the basic primary ways of saving lives, he also extends his appreciation to Dr.Sam Alori for the sponsorship, Dr’s and Scientists Of St John, Dr Martin Agbedor Of St Martin’s Clinic and all other medical Practitioners who were available for the program.
In conclusion, he reassured the general public of his administration commitment to impact the lives of the students positively.
