The Party urges the bereaved families, the Aren Eggon, and the entire Eggon nation to remain steadfast and take solace in God despite the irreparable losses, while urging all Nigerians to continue to pray for the nation to experience true transformation across all the sectors of the national life of our country to make life truly meaningful for all Nigerians.
The SDP notes that many sad incidences of multiple road crashes have cut many lives short across the country – accidents that are clearly due to the bad state of our roads, road unworthiness of many vehicles, driving by many drivers under the influence of hard substances, and the generally poor attitude of drivers and road users to complying with road safety regulations.
The Party calls on the government at all levels, particularly the federal government, to enhance road safety by fixing our roads and strengthening enforcement and compliance with road safety regulations by all road users.
The SDP expresses solidarity with the government and people of Nasarawa-Eggon Local Government Area, and the State government, while praying for the repose of the souls of the deceased compatriots and the needed comforting of God Almighty for their families.
