Niger State Government has commenced the issuance of Basic Education Certificate as the first school-leaving certificate.

The Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Dr. Hadiza Asabe Mohammed, stated this when she made a symbolic presentation of the Certificate to the farmer Governor during the State Executive Council meeting at the Government House, Minna.
