Niger State Government to Hold 2025 Investment Summit

The Niger State Government is set to host an inclusive Investment Summit in 2025, aimed at attracting investments in various sectors.

The Commissioner for Industry, Trade, Investment, and Private Sector Development, Aminu Suleiman Takuma, made this announcement during a post-Council briefing at the Government House in Minna.

According to him, the summit will focus on attracting investments in areas such as sports, renewable energy, and environment, among others.

He said the Ministry is working on a comprehensive strategy to ensure the summit’s success.

He also announced announced the commencement of the Niger State Trade Fair on May 20, 2025, with ongoing discussions to secure participation from major stakeholders.

The Ministry is working on several initiatives to promote investments in Niger State, including:

He further noted that a document detailing investment negotiations with various investors since the current administration’s inception, stressing that a guided document to help investors make informed decisions about investing in Niger State.

These initiatives demonstrate the government’s commitment to creating a favorable investment climate in Niger State.
