Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago disclosed this when he received the management team of a private Medical Institution, Mercy Medical University, Iwo, Osun State on a courtesy visit at the Government House Minna.

The farmer Governor said his administration is not relenting in its efforts to improve the health sector in the State, hence, its decision to support medical students to address the challenge of inadequate health personnel, especially at the Primary Health Centres.

He revealed that out of the 2,000 students that would be drafted from all the 25 local government areas of the State, 250 will be sent to Mercy Medical University under a partnership between the State government and the Institution.
