As we mark the 63rd Independence Day celebration, the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has called on Kogites to nurture a civic sense of unity and persist in our noble role as exemplary ambassadors as we celebrate this auspicious day.

“With a rich tapestry woven from 63 years of unwavering determination, Nigeria has triumphed over the trials and tribulations that have crossed her path.

“The indomitable spirit and unyielding resolve of Nigerians stand as a source of enduring pride for our nation.

“As we commemorate yet another anniversary of our glorious independence, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to the people of Nigeria and the remarkable residents of Kogi.

“Let us persist in our noble role as exemplary ambassadors and, above all, nurture a profound sense of unity. With our current reinvigorated vision, Nigeria is poised to reaffirm its undeniable stature as the African giant, a symbol of resilience, and a harbinger of prosperity.

“As we approach the November 11 Governorship Election, we need to constantly remind ourselves of our responsibilities towards a peaceful, free and fair election. Our party, the All Progressives Congress will continue to promote peaceful electioneering as we harp on the power of the ballots over bullets.

“Together, we shall march forward from January 2024 to continue and consolidate on the achievements of our great leader, Governor Yahaya Bello. We cannot afford to fail our dear state and her people. The future is promising and assured”.

Signed:

Kingsley Femi Fanwo
Spokesman/Director of Media and Publicity, APC Kogi State Campaign Council
