NSCDC FCT COMMANDANT APPLAUDS UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA’S CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS A SECURED NIGERIA.

The Commandant of the Federal Capital Territory (Fct) Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corp ( NSCDC ) Dr. Olusola Odomusu has applauded the Academic Community of the University of Abuja for their efforts and Contributions geared towards Solving the Security Challenges bedeviling the Nation.
The Security Chief disclosed this while delivering his good will message at a Special Lecture and dialogue, organized by the post Graduate Students of the University of Abuja, themed,” Managing Insecurity in a Multi-Ethnic Society”, at the Conference Center, Permanent site , University of Abuja.
Dr. Olusola said, the lecture and Security Dialogue which brought together representatives of all the Nigerians Security Agencies, Political Office holders, traditional rulers and the Academia to brainstorm on the way to Surmount Nigeria’s Security Challenges,was a testament to the University’s Commitments to Support Nigeria and Nigerians drive for peaceful and harmonious Coexistence and its yearnings for a Secured Territory.
While describing the move as patriotic and selfless, he further added that lectures of it kind Could reawaken the Consciousness of Nigerians towards the realization of the fact that, Security of lives and Properties was everybody’s business and the need for all Nigerians to pursue peaceful and harmonious Coexistence amongst themselves.
The FCT Commandant highlights the need for Concerted efforts and Collaborations between Security Agencies and the Citizens, reechoing the nexus between Security and development. ” As you all know, no meaningful development can take Place in a Crisis ridden and War-torn atmosphere” he noted.
