Nukpis Village Rejoices, Pours Encomium on Professor Etukudoh.
The People of Nukpis Village,Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau state,at the Weekend, received a Powerful delegation from the Federal College of Medical Laboratory Science and Technology Jos for their support and presentation of tokens and bags of rice to create more robust relationships and to equally put some smiles on the faces of the Community leaders and their subjects.
This is not the first time,the Institution has been rendering series of assistance to their Host Community and is in fulfilment of her corporate social responsibilities,since the relocation of the Institution to Nukpis Village,the Community have been enjoying the kindness and a lot of interventions from the College ranging from Infrastructures such as solar lights,Boreholes, sanitizers,rice, Employment,road construction,admissions, scholarship among others.
All these feats were achieved under the charismatic Leadership of the College’s Provost Professor Sunday Etukudoh.
The team arrived the Community at Exactly 3Pm on Friday to pay homage to the Traditional rulers and other Community leaders and reassured them of the institution’s commitment for collaboration.
Leading the delegation Dr. Mrs Mantu E. Chongs,Registrar of the Institution and accompanied by Director of Administration,Mrs. Onwuemene A. Victoria and Mr. Nkereuwem Udom, extended their warm regards of the Provost to the Community and said it is their policy to appreciate their Host and they have been enjoying the relationship with the host Community and urged them to sustain the tempo.
The Youth Leader of the Community,Hon. Elijah Azi Itsegok express joy and ecstacy to the College for their usual collaboration and assistance to the host Community.
Responding on behalf of the Traditional rulers,Baba Madaki Bitrus Kaze,said the Provost, Professor Sunday Etukudoh and the College is a God sent to the Community, according to him, despite the fact that the Community is surrounded by several Governmental and Non Governmental, Organizations,it is only the College that have been consistently showing kindness and carry her corporate social responsibilities only the College and prayed for more development and good health to the Provost and the entire staff of the institution
