Timothy Samuel, the newly elected Technical Representative of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) and Chairman of the Nigeria Volleyball Referees Association (NVRA), has pledged to take Nigerian volleyball to the next level.
He noted that with his experience as NVRA Chairman and international referee, Samuel aims to address untouched areas in volleyball and propel the sport to unprecedented success.
He plans to leverage his expertise to drive change, citing his successful digitalization of NVRA and implementation of reforms.
Samuel commended President Musa Nimrod’s efforts, particularly the establishment of the Musa Nimrod 16-19 program, which aims to develop young talent.
Samuel is optimistic about Nigeria’s future in volleyball, citing the talent pool from various regions.
He emphasizes the importance of teamwork, collaboration with coaches, and selecting individuals with clear motives and vision.
“Even if I hadn’t won the election, I’m still a Nigerian and a part of the federation. As an international referee, I’ll continue to officiate volleyball. God’s victory makes me stand firm,” Samuel said, expressing his commitment to the sport.
With his leadership, Nigerian volleyball could potentially reach new heights and achieve success.
