Obaro of Iyamoye, Oba Ibrahim Ade Momoh, Passes On

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the, Oba Ibrahim Ade Momoh, Obaro of Iyamoye in Ijumu local government area of Kogi state

The news was announced by Prince Muhammed Shuaibu on behalf of the royal family.

In a statement, the family described the monarch’s passing as the end of a remarkable era of peace, wisdom, and purposeful leadership.

“Throughout his reign, Kabiyesi was known for his humility, fairness, and unwavering commitment to the unity and development of Iyamoye and Okunland at large,” the statement read.

The family noted that Oba Momoh’s reign brought stability, progress, and renewed cultural pride to the community.

“As a father to all, he inspired generations through his wisdom, compassion, and dedication to the welfare of his people,” the statement added.

The family prayed that Almighty God grants the monarch’s noble soul eternal rest and comforts all who mourn his loss.

Further details on burial arrangements will be communicated in due course.
