October Salary: Kogi Civil Servants Laud Gov. Ododo Over payment of ₦72,500 Minimum Wage

Kogi State civil servants are thrilled to receive their October salaries with the newly approved minimum wage of ₦72,500.

The Director of Civil Engineering in the Ministry of Works, Engr Sunday Baba while receiving his salary alert in Lokoja on October 23, 2024 thanked the administration of Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo for this significant development.

Engr Baba further noted that the emergence of Gov Ododo was an act of divinity upon humanity adding that, with this development, Kogi civil servant will continue to give their support the the administration of Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Civil servants in Kogi State are praising Governor Ododo for implementing the new minimum wage, which is a substantial increase from the previous minimum wage of ₦30,000 per month. This development is expected to boost the morale and standard of living of civil servants in the state.

This indeed demonstrates Governor Ododo’s commitment to improving the welfare of civil servants in the state.
