Okun Development Initiative (ODI) Mourns Felele Road Accident, Calls for Urgent Action

The Okun Development Initiative (ODI) has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic accident that occurred on Felele Road in Lokoja, claiming the lives of several individuals. The ODI extends its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and hopes they find strength during this difficult time.

“This is a heartbreaking tragedy, and our thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost loved ones,” said Deacon Olusuyi Otitoju National Coordinator of the ODI. “We urge the relevant authorities to investigate the cause of the accident and take immediate steps to prevent such incidents from occurring again.”

The ODI has called on the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the Kogi State Government, and other relevant agencies to collaborate to address the recurring accidents on Felele Road. The organization believes that a comprehensive solution is needed to ensure the safety of road users.

“The recurring accidents on this road highlight a systemic problem that needs to be addressed urgently,” said Deacon Olusuyi Otitoju. “We need to work together to find a long-term solution that will make this road safer for everyone.”
