PDP Kogi Chapter Mourns Felele Road Accident, Calls for Urgent Action
The main opposition, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic accident that occurred on Felele Road in Lokoja, claiming the lives of several students who are the future leaders. The party extends its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and hopes they find strength during this difficult time.
In a message made available to newsmen in Lokoja, the Kogi State PDP Secretary, Hon Sunday Olufemi, on behalf of the party, described the accident as a heartbreaking tragedy, and the thoughts and prayers of the party are with the families who have lost loved ones
“We urge the relevant authorities to investigate the cause of the accident and take immediate steps to prevent such incidents from occurring again.”
The party called on the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the Kogi State Government, and other relevant agencies to collaborate to address the recurring accidents on Felele Road. The PDP believes that a comprehensive solution is needed to ensure the safety of road users.
