Okun Media Professionals Rejoice with Chairman, Chief Olugbemi Femi, on 51st Birthday

The Forum of Okun Media Professionals has celebrated its Chairman, Chief Olugbemi Femi, on the occasion of his 51st birthday, describing him as a steady voice for professional excellence and regional advocacy in Kogi West.

In a statement issued and signed by the Secretary, Comrade Bolu Obahopo, on behalf of the members of the forum commended Femi’s leadership and commitment to promoting responsible journalism and unity among media practitioners from Okunland.

“Chief Olugbemi Femi has provided purposeful leadership since assuming office as Chairman of the Forum of Okun Media Professionals,” the statement read.

“Under his watch, the forum has grown into a credible platform for amplifying the voice of Okunland and engaging constructively on issues of development, governance, and cultural identity.”

The forum highlighted Femi’s role in fostering collaboration between journalists, public officials, and community leaders, noting that his approach has strengthened professional standards while keeping the forum focused on the interests of the Okun people.

Colleagues described the celebrant as a bridge-builder whose calm disposition and experience in the media industry have earned him respect across political and professional circles in Kogi State.

“As you mark your 51st birthday, we pray for renewed strength, wisdom, and good health to continue leading this forum with integrity and vision,” the statement added. “May the years ahead bring greater impact and fulfillment in both your professional and personal life.”

Well-wishers, including media colleagues, political stakeholders, and traditional leaders from Okunland, have also sent congratulatory messages to mark the occasion.
