OLOPE commends Chief James Faleke’s declaration for Ododo’s continuity, urges all political parties to adopt Governor Ododo as consensus candidate in 2027. – DG, OLOPE, Hon Bello
The Director-General, Okun League of Progressive Elites, Hon. Alfred Bello, has urged other political elites and leaders across the political divide in Kogi State to endorse Governor Usman Ododo’s continuity for the sake of development and democratic consolidation in the state.
According to him, it’s obvious that the coast is clearer for the re-election of Governor Usman Ododo in Okun land, given Chief James Faleke’s open declaration for Ododo’s continuity.
He said Kogi State is a trailblazer and it can make history by being the first state in Nigeria where all political parties will come together to adopt a candidate at the general election.

He noted that it is not an act of weakness or fear, but it will further strengthen our democracy by bringing Kogites together in the spirit of unity, peace, and development.
“We are hopeful that Governor Usman Ododo’s determination and forthrightness will take Kogi to greater heights,” he added .
