A major highlight of the programme was the empowerment of more than 200 market women across the Gbede axis with cash support. The intervention was designed to support their businesses, strengthen their economic capacity and enhance their ability to contribute to the wellbeing of their families and communities.
The event also featured a medical outreach, providing residents with access to basic healthcare services and health-related support. This further underscored the programme’s focus on improving both the economic and social wellbeing of members of the community.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Funsho Olumoko expressed appreciation to Almighty God and everyone who contributed to the success of the programme.
He specifically acknowledged the Steering Committee, community leaders, supporters, security personnel, healthcare workers, media practitioners, volunteers and participants for their commitment, cooperation and support throughout the programme.

He also disclosed that arrangements were ongoing regarding the distribution of support packages and the fulfilment of other commitments discussed with participants.
