Omala Assembly Member Hon. Yahaya Umar aka Connect, salutes Governor Ododo On Appointment of Transport Commissioner From Omala.

The incumbent Kogi State House of Assembly Member from Omala State Constituency, Hon. Umar Connect, gave the salutations in a press statement to appreciate the Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on the recent appointment of Hon. Atuluku Victor Levi from Omola Local Government Area.

Hon. Yahaya Umar thanked Governor Ododo on behalf of his constituency for considering Omala LGA with a commissionership slot in his Cabinet saying the gesture would give the Local Government a voice in the Kogi State Council and by extension it will go a long way to bring joy and happiness to the entire people of Omala Local Government Area.

He equally expressed gratitude to his colleagues in the State House of Assembly for their support and assured the house and the state government that the Commissioner of Transport from Omala will put in his best efforts to the development and growth of the state.

 

Hon. Connect reiterated that his commitment towards ensuring that Omala Local Government Area have a commissioner in Ododo’s government is due to the fact that Omala Local Gov’t have not had a commissioner for over a decade now. So, he said his constituency is indebted to Governor Ododo for granting their request.

The Assembly Member said that himself and the Commissioner for Transport would jointly work together along with the CTC and other critical stakeholders from his constituency for the best interest of Governor Ododo administration and for the people of Omala Local Government Area at large.
