OMOLUABI, CHAIRMAN, FORUM OF SPECIAL ADVISERS CONGRATULATES GOV. ODODO ON HIS 2ND ANNIVERSARY, SAYS HIS ADMINISTRATION HAS BROUGHT GOVERNANCE CLOSER TO THE PEOPLE

Hon. Bode Adeyemi Omoluabi, Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Energy Matters and Chairman of the Forum of Special Advisers, has joined the people of Kogi State in commemorating the historic second anniversary of the administration of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and his Deputy, Elder Salifu Joel Oyibo, describing the past two years as a period of purposeful leadership, steady reforms, and visible transformation.
According to Hon. Omoluabi, the inauguration of Governor Ododo on January 27, 2024, marked the beginning of a new era anchored on the Consolidation and New Direction Agenda. A development framework that has rekindled hope, strengthened governance structures, and repositioned Kogi State for sustainable growth.
He noted that within just two years, the Ododo administration has recorded remarkable progress across key sectors of the state’s development.

On security, Hon. Omoluabi observed that communities across the state are gradually regaining stability as coordinated security operations, improved intelligence gathering, and strengthened community vigilance continue to yield positive outcomes.
In the area of infrastructure and agriculture, he highlighted the expansion of road networks, improved rural access to markets, and renewed investment in agriculture as factors boosting productivity and enhancing the livelihoods of farmers and rural dwellers.
He further commended the administration’s commitment to healthcare and education, citing the construction of 83 new Primary Healthcare Centres and increased funding for schools as clear demonstrations of the government’s prioritisation of human capital development and social welfare.
On youth and women empowerment, Hon. Omoluabi praised the sustained implementation of the 35% affirmative action policy and the appointment of capable youths and women into strategic leadership positions, describing it as a strong signal of inclusive governance and generational balance.
He described Governor Ododo’s leadership as visionary and people-centred, noting that the administration’s focus on economic empowerment, security consolidation, and institutional strengthening has already transformed many lives across the state.
Hon. Omoluabi called on all Kogites to continue to rally behind the Consolidation and New Direction Agenda, which he described as a clear blueprint for a prosperous, stable, and inclusive Kogi State.
He also expressed profound appreciation to Her Excellency, Hajiya Safinat Ododo, the First Lady of Kogi State, for her unwavering commitment to social welfare and community development. He acknowledged her compassionate leadership and impactful initiatives aimed at uplifting the vulnerable and empowering communities across the state.
Hon. Omoluabi concluded that the achievements recorded in the past two years are a strong indication that Kogi State’s best days lie ahead, expressing confidence that under the leadership of Governor Ododo and Deputy Governor Oyibo, the state will continue to make significant strides in governance, security, and economic development.
