Ona-Ara Foundation Celebrates 4th Anniversary, Empowers Less Privileged
The Ona-Ara Humanitarian Foundation marked its 2025 Day in Ekinrin-Adde, Ijumu Local Government Area, Kogi State, with a massive empowerment program for thousands.
The event featured free medical outreach, eye care, and distribution of drugs and glasses.
Founder ESV Olugbenga Collins Rotimi reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to youth emancipation and community development. “We operate with values of compassion, integrity, service, equity, and sustainability,” he said.
The foundation has undertaken various initiatives, including medical outreaches, relief support, and social programs. Rotimi announced plans to distribute palliatives, provide business startup support, and launch an agriculture initiative.
Olu Adde of Ekinrin-Adde, Olu Anthony Bamigbaye Idowu, praised the foundation’s efforts, saying it’s an “outstanding way of giving back to society.”
Empowerment items distributed included sewing machines, grinding machines, foodstuffs, and more. The event was a huge success, with attendees appreciating the foundation’s work.
