One Year Anniversary: Former Lawmaker Hails Oborevwori For Developmental Strides

*** Says New Campus Of University of Science And Technology In Orerokpe Is Gateway To Unprecedented Development

 

The Immediate Past Majority Leader of Okpe Local Government Area Legislative Arm, Hon. (Barrister) Ramsey Daniel Okoro has hailed the Developmental strides of the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, saying that the Governor has taken the state to enviable heights within one year in office.

Speaking on the one year anniversary of the State Governor, Hon. (Barrister) Ramsey Daniel Okoro who was also former Legal Adviser of PDP in Okpe Local Government Area of the State, said that he was impressed with the heights the State has reached under the watch of Governor Oborevwori.

While commending the Governor for the establishment of the new Campus of the University of Science and Technology, Ozoro to Orerokpe, Headquarters of Okpe Local Government Area, he said that the institution when eventually kicked off would fast track development in the area and it’s environs,

He added that; “We cannot thank the Governor enough for the laudable idea of bringing a Campus of the University of Science and Technology, Ozoro to Orerokpe, Headquarters of Okpe Local Government Area, this is going to attract massive development to the area and beyond. It is a gateway for unprecedented development in the community”.

Describing the Governor as a visionary leader whose wealth of experience has helped in moving the state forward under one year in office, Hon. (Barrister) Ramsey Daniel Okoro said that the #78 Billion flyovers being carried out by construction giant, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc was a welcome development, saying that; “I have always been telling those who cared to listen that our hard working Governor came prepared and he has done very well and Deltans are happy with him. I must say that he is a God sent person and he is determined to leave his foot steps in the sand of time”

“The Governor has carried on with all inherited projects and at the same time has embarked on several people-oriented projects in all parts of the State within one year as a Governor. There are so many projects going on at the same time all over the state. Deltans in the Riverine communities have been given better treatment as well by our dynamic Governor, he is a man so passionate about the development of the entire state”, he said.

According to him also; “All parts of the State are being given adequate attention at the same time by the Governor and this is why there is no cry of marginalization by the people; he has been able to carry everybody along and I want to implore Deltans to always remember Governor Oborevwori in their prayers and continue to support his administration because he is determined to do MORE for people of the State”.

Congratulating Governor Oborevwori on his one year anniversary, he said that; “God will continue to give our Governor the needed Wisdom to pilot the affairs of our dear state. All Deltans should join forces with the Governor in moving the state to the next level. I wish to heartily congratulate our promise keeper Governor on a successful One year in office and by the grace of God, he will take us to the Promised Land flowing with milk and honey”.
