OON: You are our pride, ACRESAL Management Team Eulogizes Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto.
The Kogi State Project Coordinator, Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL), Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto OON, has been described as a pride to the women folks, with her recognition and honour by former President Mohammadu Buhari with the prestigious National honour of Officer Order of the Niger title as a recognition of her good works, resilience and doggedness in excellence.
This was the of summation and convergence of opinion made by the Management Team of ACRESAL at a congratulatory dinner held in honor of the great Amazon, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto OON.
In attendance at the dinner hosted by ACRESAL team held at Ajuiji Hotel Abuja were the Task Team Leader of the ACReSAL Project, Dr. Joy Agene, the National Project Coordinator of the ACReSAL Project, Mr. Abdulhamid Umar and his team. Others in attendance were the State Project Coordinators of ACRESAL Projects and some of their officers who were in Abuja for a capacity building workshop on flexible Accounting/Financial Management Software. Similarly, the occasion was graced by friends of the celebrant and the Media.
Speakers after Speakers at the dinner, eulogized the sterling qualities of the Project Coordinator of Kogi State ACRESAL, described the prestigious National Honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) conferred on her by the immediate past President, Muhammadu Buhari as well deserved.
According to the Task Team Leader of the ACRESAL Project, Dr. Joy Agene, she said, ” We are proud of you. You have proven once again the axiom that we have women who can hold their heads high amongst commity of women in men’s world. You have no doubt made us in ACRESAL proud”, we wish you more beautiful awards and recognitions for your good works, resilience and doggedness.
“This Honour is in acknowledgment of your exceptional accomplishments and outstanding performance. Your achievements is noteworthy and serves to inspire us all”.
In his words, the National Project Coordinator of the ACReSAL Project, Mr. Abdulhamid Umar said, ” We salute your unwavering commitment to outstanding personal performance. Our achievements in ACRESAL are shaped by the strength of the foundation your set.
” Thank you for your commitment to excellence. Defining our vision of excellence in ACRESAL. We truly appreciate your commitment and dedication”.
Other speakers in there separate remarks put together all said, ” Your good works in ACRESAL is commendable and frankly speaking, we are proud of you, your talents. We are proud to have you as our colleague who have stood out and made us in ACRESAL proud”, they all said.
In her remarks, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto dedicated the honour to the Nigerian women, urged them to be courageous and strong amidst the daunting environmental and societal challenges women face in work places, used the opportunity to assure that the national honour would serve as an elixir for her to do more and make Nigerian women proud in the future”.
Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto OON is an embodiment of hardwork, represents accomplishments when she served as the Project Coordinator, NEWMAP before her appointment as Project Coordinator ACRESAL.
She is on record through transparency and dogged determination made the State and by extension Nigeria a positive reference from the World Bank. Under her leadership, Kogi State NEWMAP and ACRESAL won several notable National and International laurels, with commendations by donors and funders for her nack for accountability, transparency and prudent use of resources.
