Owa of Mopa, Otunba Muyiwa Ibeun Emerges the Elulu – Elect of Mopa land
King Maker Committee of Mopa Traditional Council (MTC) in Mopamuro local government area of Kogi State, north Central Nigeria, has announced the selection of Owa of Mopa, Otunba Muyiwa Ibeun, the Chairman of MUIB Group of Companies as the Elulu-elect for the apex Chieftaincy stool in Mopamuro Traditional Council.

Recall that Elulu of Mopa, Oba Julius Joledo went to meet his ancestors on 22nd October, 2023, therefore the need and importance to feel the vacancy as tradition demands.
The Committee presented the Certificate of Selection to Otunba Ibeun in Mopa on Tuesday after the screening of 7 persons who applied to be Elulu.
The Chairman of the King Makers Committee, Otunba of Mopa, Chief David Olojo while presenting the Certificate of Selection to Otunba Ibeun said; “having fulfilled the constitutional and traditional procedures, Otunba Muyiwa Ibeun is here by selected as the Elulu-elect”.
He also added that as the Acting Chairman of Mopa Traditional Council, he is also presenting the certificate on behalf of them.
Chief Olojo while congratulating the Elulu-elect, also appreciate Mopa Traditional Council for their guidance and availability.
Otunba Ibeun, who also is the Chief Executive of MUIB Oil & Gas, MUIB Properties, MUIB Transport and other construction companies appreciates Mopa people, Traditional Council and other communities who produced candidates for their respective display of love for Mopa.
He stressed on the spirit of sportsmanship to call on other former candidates, that on the foundation of Imopapo (Unity) that Mopa was established upon, inviting them to work with him for developed and independent Mopa under his reign.
Otunba Ibeun also called a minute silence in respect of the immediate passed away Elulu, His Royal Majesty, Oba Julius Joledo. That despite his emergence in the important selection process that was just concluded, Mopa lost gem.
