A political group, Oworo Youth Network for Karimi, has declared its support for the Senator representing Kogi West, Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group on Monday presented branded campaign souvenirs to the Senator at his office in Abuja.
Items presented included face caps, T-shirts, and stickers bearing the Senator’s name and photograph.
Receiving the delegation, Senator Karimi described the gesture as “an enormous sacrifice” and “the first of its kind” from the Oworo axis.
“I sincerely appreciate you for this gesture. It shows commitment and love for the people of Kogi West. I will always be available for you whenever my support is needed,” he said.
The Senator also used the opportunity to highlight some of his achievements in Kogi West in the areas of education, health, road infrastructure, and youth empowerment.
He assured the group of his resolve to continue delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of the senatorial district.
“I am committed to impacting the lives of our people in positive and productive ways. By God’s grace and with your support, we will do more when re-elected,” Senator Karimi added.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Aledare Olatunji said the presentation was to demonstrate solidarity and appreciation for the Senator’s quality representation so far.
Other members of the delegation present included Engr. S.B. Suleiman, Prince Abdullahi Oberewa, and Usman Danjuma.
The group pledged to continue mobilizing youths across Oworo land for Senator Karimi’s re-election bid.
