PCRC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN APPLAUDS CP NAZIRU BELLO KANKAROFI PSC MNI; REAFFIRMS STRONG POLICE–COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP
The Kogi State Police Command received the National Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Alhaji Mogaji Olaniyan Ibrahim, on a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Command, CP Naziru Bello Kankarofi psc mni, at the Command Headquarters, Lokoja.
During the visit, the National Chairman commended CP Naziru Bello Kankarofi psc mni for the remarkable and difficult feat he has achieved within just three months of assuming office. He noted that the visible improvement in operational efficiency, intelligence-driven policing, and strengthened community engagement clearly reflects purposeful leadership and strategic direction in tackling security challenges across the State.
Alhaji Mogaji Olaniyan Ibrahim further applauded the Command’s sustained efforts in combating criminal activities and enhancing collaboration with critical stakeholders. He emphasized that the progress recorded within such a short period has significantly boosted public confidence and reinforced the PCRC’s commitment to supporting the Command’s initiatives.
In his response, CP Naziru Bello Kankarofi psc mni appreciated the PCRC leadership for their unwavering support and reaffirmed his commitment to deepening community-based policing and strengthening partnerships across all sectors. As part of the visit, the National Chairman presented an award of recognition to the CP in appreciation of his exemplary leadership, while the CP presented a commemorative plaque in return, symbolizing mutual respect and sustained collaboration.
The Commissioner of Police reiterates his unwavering commitment to professional, intelligence-led, and people-centered policing in line with the vision of the Inspector-General of Police. He assures residents of Kogi State of the Command’s sustained operational momentum and calls for continued cooperation and credible information from members of the public, emphasizing that security remains a collective responsibility.
