PDP, Lamidi Apapa faction sponsoring fake party Candidate in Kogi- Labour Party alleges

The Labour Party in Kogi State has allegedly accused the People Democratic Party, (PDP) and Lamidi Apapa led faction of the party of sponsoring fake Governorship Candidate ahead of the November 11 Governorship election in Kogi State.

Addressing a press conference in Lokoja on Saturday, the State Publicity Secretary of Labour Party Idakwo Emmanuel emphasized that Barrister Adejoh Okeme, remains the authentic Governorship Candidate of Labour Party .

Okeme noted that one retired military officer identified as Col. Dr Vincent Enemona who is claiming to be the Governorship Candidate of Labour Party refused to participate in the authentic Party primary election in Kogi State.

He added that no court of justice in Nigeria has ever made any enrollment order confirming Col. Dr Vincent Enemona Rtd as the party Candidate.

He stated further that, both the High Court judgement and Appeal Court judgement affirmed Barrister Adejoh Okeme as Labour Party governorship candidate in Kogi State.

According to him, “the show of shame of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) regarding a non existent supreme Court judgement affirming Col. Dr Vincent Enemona Abu as labour party governorship candidate and his collaboration with PDP candidate is a pitiable display of political megalomania, an exhibition of rascality and criminality as they is no evidence to prove their claims in a bid to gain cheap propaganda”.

He admonished all the members of labour party, supporters and well wishers most importantly the Obedient family to remain committed to their just cause of bringing an end the era of maladministration and bad governance of both the PDP and the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
