Prof. Gomos, Pyefa Investiture as Corporate Administrators.

The Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration, Plateau State University as well as the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics, Associate Professor Jurji Nengak Gomos and Professor Moses Galadima Pyefa were Investiture as Corporate Administrators by the Institute of Corporate Administrators, amid cheers and encomiums, the event which took place at the City Lodge Hotel Jos.

In his Presentation, Guest Speaker at the occasion, Mr. Rex Onah spoke on the theme: Innovation,The Key to Managing uncertainty.

According to him,learning and innovation goes hand in hand.

The arrogance of success is you think that what you have achieved today will be sufficient for tomorrow .

Said what gave us success today may not necessary give us results tomorrow, the strategies of that same yesterday may work but innovation is very crucial .

Anah Challenges the Awardees to ensure they applied innovations in their respective offices.

Said Innovation simply means bringing some new ideas in solving current challenges and anticipated problem to satisfy and meet the need the need of people .

As an Administrator,you should not bring policies and strategies that will suit you alone but other individuals.

The Guest Speaker further buttressed that Innovation being growth in an organization, innovation should also push boundaries in organization.

The Management have roles to nurture innovation Culture.

He charged the participants to provide enabling environment that will promote innovations.

In his statement,the Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration, Plateau State University, Associate Professor Jurji Nengak Gomos Challenge other participants to look internally and develop the local materials instead of relying on the western Technologies.

Highlights of the event was the Presentation of certificates to the Participants.

Other recipients include Engineer Yakubu Ashom, National President of Afizere Cultural and Community Development Association,Dr. Sunday Etukodoh, Provost, Federal School of Medical Laboratory Technology,Jos. Registrar, University of Jos, Barrister Izang Aware,Chairman,Nigeria Bar Association, Jos Branch,Major General Abdusalam Abubakar,General officer,Commanding third Armed Division,Rukuba and Commander, Operation Safe Haven,Librarian, Federal College of Education,Pankshin, Among others.
