PDP leadership structure is intact in Kabba-Bunu – Hon Sunday Ibrahim
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kabba-Bunu local government area of Kogi State has reacted to the media reports of the purported decampment of the party leaders in the local government into the fold of the ruling All Progressives Congress, pointing out that it’s leadership structure is intact hence the general public should disregard the media reports.
A press statement signed by the Party’s State Secretary, Hon. Sunday Olufemi Ibrahim, made available to newsmen on behalf of the party in Lokoja, stated that it is the right of the individuals to freely associate with any group or party as guaranteed by the constitution of Nigeria.
He said the PDP is surprised to see those who have condemned the maladministration of the ruling APC in the past, now dancing, singing and praising them just because of stomach infrastructure. He reiterated that the PDP still remains the only party that can take the country out of the current economic quagmire the APC have foisted on the people.
He stressed that the PDP remains formidable in the local government, urging its members and general public to continue to keep faith with the party and leadership in the local government and state.
