Philanthropist Gabriel Abinu Hails Maigari of Lokoja at 61, Praises Monarch’s Impact on Development

Renowned philanthropist, Ambassador Coach Gabriel Abinu, has congratulated the Maigari of Lokoja and Chairman of the Lokoja Local Government Traditional Council, His Royal Highness Dr. Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi IV, as the revered monarch marks his 61st birthday.

In a goodwill message personally signed by him, Amb. Abinu described the Maigari as “a father, a unifier and a visionary leader whose reign has continued to usher in peace, progress and development across the Lokoja Kingdom.”

He added that since ascending the ancestral throne, the Maigari has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership.

“His Royal Highness has carried everyone along—youths, elders, women and leaders across communities. His inclusive leadership style is attracting development and fostering harmony among our people,” he said.

While praying for long life, wisdom and good health for the monarch, Abinu reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Maigari’s efforts toward uplifting the Lokoja Kingdom.

“As we celebrate our father and paramount ruler today, our prayer is that he continues to wax stronger in health and wisdom, by the special grace of Almighty Allah,” he stated.

“He has done remarkably well for the people of Lokoja Local Government, and as a philanthropist, I will continue to give him all the needed support to ensure his reign remains successful and impactful.”

Abinu further commended the Maigari’s dedication to cultural preservation, peaceful coexistence and youth empowerment, describing these as “qualities that set him apart as a modern traditional ruler with a deep love for his people.”

“The Maigari is a blessing to our generation. His humility, compassion, and commitment to community growth inspire many of us. Lokoja is fortunate to have him at the helm of its traditional institution,” he added.

The philanthropist joined family members, traditional institutions, and well-wishers across the state in celebrating the monarch’s 61st birthday.
