PLASU: Dr. Mark Danung Re-elected as Dean, Faculty of Law
The Faculty of Law, Plateau State University, Bokkos, is making landmark achievements not only in the University but in the country at large, particularly in imparting legal education to students and providing legal advice and services within and outside the University.
To continue achieving this feat, the Faculty has unanimously re-elected its pioneer Dean, Dr. Mark Danung, to serve for another two-year tenure.
Under his leadership, the Faculty secured accreditation from the Nigerian Council for Legal Education and implemented several innovations and administrative strategies.

Staff and students of the Faculty have expressed excitement and sent felicitations following the announcement of his re-election. Currently, the Faculty has three sets of students, and another set will be admitted for the next academic session.
The Faculty’s progress is attributed to the efforts of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Shedrack Gaya Best, who has driven infrastructural development and staff welfare, stabilizing academic activities in the Institution.
With Dr. Danung’s experience and expertise, the Faculty is expected to witness further development.
