Plateau North: Dr. Joseph Azi Mini, declared Interest.
I, Dr Joseph Magaji Azi, mni, with a deep sense of responsibility to our people and a firm commitment to service, hereby formally declare my interest to contest for the Plateau North Senatorial seat in the 2027 General Election, to represent the good people of Plateau North Senatorial zone in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under our great political party the APC.
This declaration is founded on a lifelong devotion to service, competence, integrity, foresighted leadership and selflessness. I believe that leadership must be guided by ideas, character and compassion and that public office must remain a sacred trust to be used for the collective good of our people.
Our zone is blessed with experienced elders, vibrant youths, resilient women, diverse tribes and rich religious and cultural heritage. I therefore present myself to all stakeholders, traditional institutions, community leaders, professional bodies, party faithful, youths, women groups, persons with disabilities and faith communities as a candidate of inclusion, prudence and unity of purpose.

If entrusted with this mandate, I commit to:
An inclusive representation that gives every community and every voice a place at the table of governance.
A people-centred legislative agenda that prioritises education, health, agriculture, economic empowerment, youth development, security and social welfare.
Prudent and accountable leadership, anchored on transparency and measurable outcomes.
Bridge-building across tribes and religions, recognising that our diversity is our strength, not our weakness.
I am convinced that the future of our Zone requires leaders who can think ahead, act responsibly and place the interest of the people above personal ambition. My aspiration is driven not by entitlement, but by a sincere desire to contribute meaningfully to the growth, stability and prosperity of our dear communities and our beloved Plateau State.
I respectfully seek the support, prayers and collective goodwill of our elders, youths, women, political leaders and all critical stakeholders as we begin this journey together, a journey towards a selfless, prudent and truly representative leadership for Plateau North.
