” While we acknowledge your remarkable strides, PPAPAP passionately appealed to you ,Dr. Dennis Otuaro to prioritize the empowerment of our spouses under the Women Empowerment Program.”

The Group disclosed during the Press briefing that Many of the ex-agitators’ wives struggle with financial hardships, and providing them with viable nomic opportunities will help stabilize their families and lift them out of poverty.

The PPAPAP leadership explained that
by investing in their women-focused skill acquisition and entrepreneurial programs, the PAP can foster inclusive growth and further strengthen peace in the region.

PPAPAP also stressed the importance of synergy between the Amnesty Office and its leadership to ensure that their concerns and recommendations align with the overall objectives of the program. The group urges Dr. Dennis Otuaro to work closely with PPAPAP leaders, to ensure that they benefit what is due for them. They maintained that there is need for them to be adequately informed so that they can be actively involved in every empowerment initiative. Carrying them along will enable ex-agitators to fully benefit from opportunities designed for their reintegration and development.

PPAPAP explained that the Third phase leaders need leadership training and and their slots given to them. They insisted that they also want
Leadership empowerment because
both First phase and Second phase have leadership empowerment but Third phase don’t have, so we need empowerment in Third phase for leaders. Proper documentation and slots for leaders of Third Phase

Furthermore, the group called for a thorough leadership verification exercise within the Third Phase of the Amnesty Program to ensure that only genuine ex-agitator leaders are recognized and involved in decision-making processes. This will enhance transparency, fairness, and accountability, strengthening the program’s impact. PPAPAP remains committed to supporting Dr. Otuaro’s leadership and urges him to continue his progressive policies for the betterment of the Niger Delta region.
