Erukutu Congratulates Akeson on emergence as Aiyeteju/Kajola PDP Ward Leader
A chieftain of the main opposition party, People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) in Kogi State, Prince Elijah Ibinaiye aka Erukutu has congratulated Chief Abejide Olalekan Akefe on his emergence as the PDP Ward Leader of Aiyeteju/Kajola in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, north central, Nigeria, stressing that it is a new dawn for the party in the area.
He disclosed this in a telephone chat with one of our reporters.
He said, though it is unfortunate the former leader of the ward resigned from the party, pointed out that his action has given rooms for the youths to take their rightful positions within the party in the ward.
He described Chief Abejide as a resourceful individual with capacity to galvanize support for the party to continue to maintain its dominance in the largest ward in Kabba/Bunu, saying that the action of the former only give rooms for the party to reposition itself for a better performance in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
He further said that there is no gainsaying that the Governorship Candidate of the party, Senator Dino Melaye needs people like Chief Abejide Akefe to rescue the state from the maladministration of the current administration and reposition the state for the betterment of all Kogites.
He urged all members of the party in the ward to give their maximum support and cooperation to rally round the new leadership, as that is the only opportunity for the members to enjoy the fresh air that have blown by the exist of those who have eaten the party tried in the last twenty four years.
