Prince Olatunji Pays Courtesy Visits to Obaro of Kabba, Olujumu of Ijumu, and Ologidi of Ogidi

Prince Olatunji Olusoji, the Asiwaju of Ayere Kingdom and renowned philanthropist, has paid courtesy visits to three prominent monarchs in Okunland.

The visits were aimed at paying respects, familiarizing himself with the paramount rulers, and discussing ways to contribute to the development of the area.

According to him, he visited the Obaro of Kabba and Chairman Okun Area Traditional Council, His Royal Majesty Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, to condole with him on the recent passing of his wife, Olori Maria Ige.

During the visit, Prince Olatunji praised the monarch’s leadership and reaffirmed his commitment to carrying out humanitarian services in Okunland through his foundation, PROOF.

He emphasized his dedication to alleviating the suffering of the downtrodden and contributing to the overall development of the area.

Prince Olatunji also visited the Olujumu of Ijumu, His Royal Majesty Oba Williams Ayeni, and promised to upscale his humanitarian activities in the area.

He urged the monarch to reach out to him with any needs that required his assistance, expressing his desire to work with stakeholders to make Ijumu and Okunland great.

Speaking in Ogidi, the Ologidi of Ogidi, His Royal Majesty, Oba R.O. Sule, said he has penciled Prince Olatunji down for a chieftaincy title during the Ogidi Day celebration on June 21, 2025 in appreciation to all what is doing for the people.

The monarch praised Prince Olatunji’s kind gestures to the people, particularly in the areas of education, health, and social amenities.

Earlier, Prince Olatunji joined Governor Usman Ododo, represented by his deputy, Comrade Joel Oyibo, former Governor Yahaya Bello, and other dignitaries, to grace a reception ceremony in honor of Professor Naseem Nasir Abdulsalam, the newly appointed Managing Director of Ajaokuta Steel Company.

The Prince was accompanied by notable dignitaries, including Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole, immediate past Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Prince Jam Bright, Chief Ebami Bishop, Mr. Ahmed Baba Idah, Mr. Henry Belushi, and Mr. James Olorundare, members of his foundation (PROOF) and Team Prince Yomikola in Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency
