Prince Onuche Gabriel Opaluwa Hails Governor Ododo’s Administration as a Beacon of Hope on First Anniversary
Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy, Joel Oyibo Salifu, are marking their first year in office, a milestone that highlights their tireless efforts to drive development and progress in Kogi State. Prince Onuche Gabriel Opaluwa, in a goodwill message, praised the duo’s commitment to the welfare of the people and their dedication to building a brighter future for Kogi State.
The administration has made significant strides in infrastructure development, particularly in Kogi East. The Dekina-Elubi Road, currently under construction, aims to improve connectivity and facilitate economic growth in the region. Additionally, the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) has undertaken the construction of the Odidoko Road in Olamaboro Local Government Area, enhancing access to rural areas and promoting agricultural development. The Odonyi-Oguma-Seriya Road project is another testament to the administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure in Kogi East.
The administration has also demonstrated its commitment to resolving long-standing disputes, including the boundary crisis between Kogi and Enugu States at Ette in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State. This effort aims to promote peace and stability in the region, fostering an environment conducive to economic growth and development.
More so, the administration was able to forestall peace in Bagana, Omala Local Government Area.
As they celebrate this achievement, Prince Opaluwa expressed his optimism for the future, saying, “May their tenure continue to bring hope, progress and pride to the great people of Kogi using State.” He also wished them wisdom, joy, and unprecedented success in their remaining time in office.
