The Director General of the Progressive Amalgamation of Northern Nigeria (PANN), Hon. Bala Salihu Dawakin Kudu, extends his heartfelt sympathies to the family, colleagues, and friends of the recent flood victims in Borno State. On behalf of the National Executives, State Executives, all 19 states’ Local Government Coordinators, and the entire membership of PANN across the Northern states and Abuja, we express our deepest condolences to the people of Maiduguri and Jere, the communities severely affected by this tragic disaster.

Hon. Bala Salihu Dawakin Kudu acknowledges the immense loss and hardship caused by the flooding and praises the remarkable resilience and strength of the people of Maiduguri, who have faced numerous challenges in recent times. We pray that Almighty Allah rewards them abundantly in this world and the hereafter.

We also call upon the Federal and State governments, as well as international donor agencies, to extend urgent support to the affected victims in Maiduguri. PANN commends the exceptional efforts of His Excellency Governor Baba Gana Zulum for his swift action in ensuring the safety of lives and properties, and especially for aiding the victims through healthcare development, the provision of temporary shelters, and food relief.

Signed:
Hon. Zakaria Adamu
Admin Secretary, PANN
