REASONS WHY WE MUST VOTE ELDER LEKE ABEJIDE FOR KOGI STATE GOVERNOR COME NOV. 2023- BY DEACON SAMUEL ADEBOLA

PREAMBLE
1. Kogi State was created in1991, by then military president lbrahim Babangida.
Kogi state was carved out of the then Kwara state and Benue state. The first military
administrator of the newly created state was Capt. Afa Kiriya and the first elected
governor in 1992 is Alhaji Audu, though he could not complete his tenure before the military intercepted led by late General Sani Abacha in 1993, he also ruled the state between 1999 – 2003 for the second time.

He was follow by
Alhaji lbrahim Ibro, and Capt. Alhaji Wada respectively, all these personalities emerged from Eastern Senatorial District dominated by the Igala speaking people before fate smiles on Ebira people with the death of Prince Audu Abubakar after 2015 governorship election which was already won.

The current governor is Alhaji Yahaya Bello from Central senatorial district which is dominated by Ebira people.
All the above mention names are from Igala and Ebira, which means West Senatorial district dominated by Okun Yoruba speaking people have
not been privileged to be the governor, It is however good that okun land at this time be allow to occupy the exotic seat in the state so as to bring real development that will be beneficial to Kogi State.
As a matter of fact, we all can testy that of all representatives that we had both now
and in the time past, there is no one that has performed creditably like Elder
leke Abejide.
I want to state categorically without mincing words that Hon. Elder Olorunleke
Abejide, is our choice. Both old and young in Okun land are solidly in support
of his willingness to serve as the next Executive Governor of Kogi state come
November, 2023.

His generosity is what our candidate – Arc. Salman ldris rode on to become
Kabba/Bunu / Ijumu to the National Assembly hence his is the next Kogi state executive Governor because he is
accepted by all with a standing ovation.
KOGI STATE GOVERNOR 2023, OKUN PROJECT FOR HON. (ELDER) LEKE
ABEJIDE.

Dear good people of Yagba federal constituency, Kabba-Bunu, ljumu, Mopa
Amuro, let us emulate the leadership trait and style of Hon. Elder Leke Abejide
who is looking for a higher position to represent us. He has done well before and
he is going to do it better. Hon. Leke Abejide is a God fearing man who did not
disappoint the good people of Yagba constituency and Okun generally. As a
committed member of the A.D.C. Hon. Leke Abejide will not wreck the boat of the
party when he gets to the position of a governor. Hon. Elder Leke is very
Hardworking and trustworthy.
He is a humble person and respecter leader. We can
boldly say that his emergence is answer to our prayer. During his first tenure as our representative of Yagba East and Yagba west
Mopa – Amuro, he used his money and influence to positively impact on the area and Okun
land. You single handedly cater for the widows, Youths, and the Aged ones. All
the good works he has done in Okun Land are verifiable and it’s speak for him loud
and clear.

His intervention when the road from Kabba to lyamoye became unpassable and that of
Avetoro Gbede to Isanlu was loud aside that of Isanlu to Irunda.

He also make available solar street lights for Irunda people.
Honourable Sir, in our consultation with the royal fathers, the king of
Ayedayo made it known to us that you did a great thing for his town and they all
says” More Grease To Your Elbow”. You are a promoter of excellence in
education – you paid for all bills for all the public schools in respect of their Junior
WAEC and Senior WAEC”.
It is our earnest prayer and ultimate expectation that you emerge as our governor of
Kogi State. The Okun people are in support of you. The Yoruba Adages says (Eye
Bi Okin Kosi Ni Gbo). It is not by your knowledge,
is only God that Is sending you to Okun to deliver the message of God. Don’t
relent on your effort on Okun land in particular Kogi state in general. God bless
you and spare your life for us. Amen
