REJOINDER: A RESPONSE TO BASELESS CLAIMS BY ONE FACELESS “ADEBOYE EMMANUEL”
Our attention has been drawn to a social media post authored by one Adebayo Emmanuel, an individual of no known political standing or public credibility, alleging that the Lokoja APC Stakeholders received the sum of ₦250 million from Senator Sunday Karimi in exchange for his recent endorsement at the Lokoja APC Stakeholders Meeting held on Monday.
Let it be clearly stated: this allegation is false, unfounded, and deliberately malicious.
The post, which has gained attention online, is entirely devoid of evidence or credible sourcing. It is a classic example of political mudslinging driven by desperation and mischief. Not a single shred of proof has been presented to support such a serious claim, and in the absence of facts, the public is right to view this as a smear campaign against Senator Karimi and the integrity of Lokoja APC leadership.

Our party and its leadership have always conducted themselves with integrity, accountability, and transparency. The endorsement of Senator Karimi was the outcome of a thorough, consultative process reflecting his legislative contributions, loyalty to the party, and responsiveness to the people of Lokoja and Kogi West at large.
Let it be known: Lokoja APC is not for sale.
The stakeholders’ vote of confidence in Senator Karimi was not bought, it was earned. This party does not take lightly the dignity of its members or the sanctity of its processes. We reject any insinuation that we would compromise our principles for financial gain.
We urge our teeming supporters and the general public to disregard the baseless narrative being peddled by faceless individuals. Instead, we encourage everyone to seek information from verified party sources and to be wary of politically motivated misinformation designed to sow discord within our ranks.
The All Progressives Congress in Lokoja remains united, focused, and committed to the values of good governance, accountability, and progress. We will not be distracted by falsehoods or blackmail.
