Rep. Salman Idris Congratulates Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on Second Anniversary in Office.
The Member representing Kabba–Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Hon. Salman Idris has congratulated the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the occasion of his second year anniversary in office.
In a congratulatory message released on Tuesday, Hon. Idris commended Governor Ododo for what he described as purposeful leadership, commitment to good governance and steady efforts at consolidating peace, unity and development across Kogi State since assuming office.
According to the federal lawmaker, the past two years have reflected the governor’s dedication to building on the legacies of previous administrations while introducing people-oriented policies aimed at improving the welfare of citizens. He noted that Governor Ododo’s administration has continued to prioritize infrastructural development, security, youth empowerment, and civil service reforms, which have positively impacted the lives of Kogites.

Hon. Idris further praised the governor for his inclusive leadership style and responsiveness to the needs of the grassroots, stressing that these qualities have strengthened public confidence in government.
He expressed optimism that the remaining years of the administration would witness even greater achievements, urging the people of Kogi State to continue supporting the governor’s vision for sustainable development.
The lawmaker wished Governor Ododo good health, wisdom and renewed strength as he continues to steer the affairs of the state toward progress and prosperity.
