David Mark’s Leadership Inspires Confidence and Strength in ADC – Abdullahi

By Nelson Ogbu

National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bolaji Abdullahi, has praised the party’s National Chairman, Senator David Mark, describing him as a leader whose quiet strength, steady guidance, and strategic assertiveness inspire confidence among party members and Nigerians alike.

Speaking at the launch of his book, The Loyalist, on Tuesday at the Barcelona Hotel, Abuja, Abdullahi said Mark’s leadership gives ADC members the assurance they need to advance the party’s mission and present a credible alternative for Nigerians.

“I have not seen a kind of leader as quiet, yet as effective and assertive, as our National Chairman, Senator David Mark,” Abdullahi said. “With him, we have a confidence that allows us to go out and work tirelessly for the party. Under his guidance, Nigerians will truly see what they deserve — a party committed to good governance, integrity, and service.”

The book launch drew a star-studded gathering of Nigeria’s political leadership. Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was the Special Guest of Honour, while Senator David Mark chaired the occasion. Former Ekiti State Governor Dr Kayode Fayemi presented the book, Dr Hakeem Baba-Ahmed reviewed it, and former Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal formally launched it. Other prominent attendees included Peter Obi, Rotimi Amaechi, Liyel Imoke, Rauf Aregbesola, and Emeka Ihedioha.

Abdullahi emphasized that Mark’s leadership style—marked by humility, patience, and strategic foresight—has strengthened the party from within, creating unity and purpose among ADC leaders.

“Senator Mark doesn’t need fanfare to lead,” Abdullahi added. “His guidance ensures that we focus on building structures, nurturing talent, and delivering our promises to Nigerians. It’s this steady, deliberate leadership that positions ADC to make a real difference in the country.”

The gathering, which celebrated both the book launch and ADC’s growing cohesion under Mark’s leadership, showcased the party’s readiness to take on national challenges, reflecting a commitment to unity, discipline, and strategic vision.

Abdullahi’s tribute highlighted the crucial role of strong, values-based leadership in Nigerian politics, reinforcing the perception of Senator Mark as a statesman whose mentorship continues to shape the next generation of ADC leaders and strengthen the party as a credible alternative for Nigerians.
