Rep Salman Idris Congratulates Prince Olatunji Olusoji on His Honorary Doctorate Degree.

Honourable Salman Idris, Member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has congratulated Asiwaju Prince Olatunji Olusoji on the conferment of an honorary Doctorate Degree (Honoris Causa) by Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, Kogi State.

 

In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen, Rep. Idris described the honour as well-deserved, noting that Prince Olatunji’s recognition reflects his years of selfless service, philanthropy, and unwavering commitment to educational development and humanitarian causes across Kogi State and Nigeria at large.

The federal lawmaker commended Prince Olatunji, who is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Grosvenor Global Limited and Founder of the Prince Olatunji Olusoji Foundation (PROOF), for his consistent support to students, institutions of learning and vulnerable members of society. According to him, such contributions have continued to inspire hope and create opportunities for many young Nigerians.

 

Rep. Idris further applauded Prince Abubakar Audu University for identifying and honouring individuals whose impact transcends personal success and contributes meaningfully to national development. He stated that the decision of the University’s Governing Council and Senate to bestow the honorary doctorate underscores the importance of philanthropy and partnership in strengthening the education sector.

He added that Prince Olatunji Olusoji has remained a strong pillar of support to government initiatives aimed at sustainable development, peace, and progress in Kogi State, while also playing a vital role in empowering communities through education and social interventions.

Hon. Salman Idris wished Prince Olatunji continued success, good health, and greater accomplishments, expressing confidence that the honorary doctorate would further motivate him to expand his humanitarian efforts and contributions to society.

The honorary degree was officially conferred on Prince Olatunji Olusoji on January 24, 2026, in recognition of his outstanding service to humanity and academic development.
