Founded just six months ago (March 2024), this fledgling institution has taken the football community by storm, boasting an unblemished record of six consecutive wins.

Northedge Football Academy was established by Suace Nwachukwu, an entrepreneur and football lover alongside other Denzel James and Alex Necessary as team coaches.
Their shared vision is to create a nurturing environment where young talent can flourish, focusing on technical skill development, tactical awareness, and character building.
“Our goal is to produce well-rounded players who excel on and off the pitch,” Suace Nwachukwu explained. “We’re committed to providing top-class coaching, facilities, and opportunities for our students to reach their full potential.”
Northedge’s squad comprises 22 talented youngsters, aged 16-19, handpicked from trials and scouting missions across Kogi State and Nigeria at large. The team’s diverse makeup reflects the academy’s inclusive ethos, with players from various backgrounds and tribes.
Northedge’s unbeaten streak has sent shockwaves through the Kogi football community. Their impressive game record includes:

Their key players include new faces on the football scenes in Kogi State with the likes of: Oreoluwa Bob Davids (Attacker), Isah (Goalkeeper), Abonie (Midfielder), Mubarak Aliyu (Defender), Denzel James (Attacker).
Their facilities are quite encouraging for a start up, with the team boosting of a football pitch, a store house, a camp house on construction, football training materials and match day equipments (balls, cones, nets, first aid kits e.t.c.
With their impressive start, Northedge Football Academy has already attracted attention from top-tier clubs and scouts within and outside the country. As they continue to grow and develop, the sky’s the limit for this talented group of young footballers.
