Be Prepared for Higher Tasks – Jerry Omodara Tells Newly Promoted Officers, Decorates Army Majors, Captains, NPF DCPs, ACPs, and Others
The State Security Adviser to Kogi State Government, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), joined the Commissioner of police to decorate the newly promoted Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCPs), Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACPs), and 4 DPOs of the Nigeria Police Force serving in Kogi State with their new ranks. One of the promoted senior officers is Deputy Commissioner of Police Godspower Origho, Area Commander Kabba.
Commander Jerry Omodara who represented the Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo congratulated the newly promoted officers and urged them to be more dedicated in discharging their duties, as more opportunities lies ahead of them in the Force.
He said the Governor will continue to support the security agencies in the state to achieve a peaceful environment in all parts of the state.
He assured that the Kogi State Government is doing everything possible to ensure that the Kogi State Command of the Nigerian Police Force is given every necessary support needed, stressing that whom much is given, much is expected.
In similar assignment, the State Security Adviser joined the Commander of the 12 Brigade Nigerian Army, Lokoja, Brig Gen Oluremi A. Fadairo, to decorate three newly promoted Majors and Captain of the Nigerian Army, at the Baquent Hall of the 12 Brigade Nigerian Army Barracks, Lokoja.
In his remarks, Jerry Omodara congratulated the newly promoted Majors and Captain for their elevations and thereafter commended their spouses and family members for their support and prayers towards their progress in the Nigerian Army.
He stressed that Governor Ododo-led administration will continue to work closely with them to ensure the State remains one of the safest in the Country.
He offered prayers to the newly promoted officers. The highlight of the two events was the decorations of the newly promoted officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), and the Nigerian Army (NA) respectively.
